How French is Adria in Paris? BuzzFeed Provides the Answer

I took the BuzzFeed “How French Are You?” quiz and voila! The result:

You checked out 44 out of 90 on this list!
You’re as French as Sex and the City’s last episode. You may know France fairly well. You may even be in France right now. But you’ve only scratched the surface of what it means to be French. You have yet to feel the existential angst that comes with it.

So what are some of my Frenchie attributes, according to the survey? Here are some of my favorites:

I complain when it’s too hot.
I complain when it’s too cold.
I complain a lot.
I’ve cut in line. (Please don’t think I’m horrible.)
I’ve yelled at another person for cutting in line.
I think France is the most beautiful country in the world.
I believe in free healthcare.
I know who Serge Gainsbourg is and I think he’s a genius.
I like butter, heavy cream and whipped cream.
I like to eat.
I hate waiting.

My French husband had about 70 out of 90 on this list, so I guess it’s pretty accurate!

Have you taken the quiz and if so, how French are you?

  1. Wow, scary - I got 51 out of 90! I can't wait to have my husband take it. That is too funny that your husband only got 70 when he actually is French!

    1. I guess in a few years, our scores might reach the perfection of 90!! It is funny how you kind of "become French" after years here. Hope your husband gets a high score to prove that he is indeed French. :)

  2. My goodness, I've been living here too long! Scored 60 out of 90, am practically French. Then again, it might be because Romanian culture has been quite heavily influenced by French culture traditionally.

    1. Congratulations... You are indeed French! :) It's funny how we do pick up the French behavior/way of life after years living here. As I was going through the list, I couldn't believe how easily I was fitting in with those French ideas!

  3. Crumbs. I got 18. But then, we were in the south, and I think half of the people I know there wouldn't score highly.

    1. Ha, ha! Yes, maybe the question should have been "How Parisian are you?" I found myself losing points because I don't eat some of the traditional specialties or smoke!
