How Did the Street "Rue des Martyrs" Get its Name? Find Out!

As you know, my first novel is called "Paris, Rue des Martyrs." But how did the Parisian street Rue des Martyrs get its name?

To find out and to learn more about the street and neighborhood, please click here and follow me to the blog Killer Crafts & Crafty Killers where I am guest posting today! It is the blog of author Lois Winston’s character Anastasia Pollack, crafts editor and reluctant amateur sleuth. Thanks and happy reading!

  1. Great article! I was actually curious about the street's name. And I have to admit I never put two and two together that "Montmartre" means "mountain of the martyr." I love learning little facts like this!
